SUBWAY MADNESS was originally released on 9/11/2011. The date was symbolic: ten years after 9/11, after a decade that saw increased security measures and layers of surveillance throughout the NYC subway system, including an effort to ban all photography anywhere in the system, we were still there. In the tunnels, in the yards, in all the back hidden back rooms. During a time when other urban exploration groups had closed up shop out of fear, we were giving the powers that be the finger.
